Technological Innovation, Energy Production and Financial Markets
The round table will focus on the impact of technological innovation on the financial system. The spread of artificial intelligence, the expansion of digital assets, and the tokenization of financial instruments will change the role of intermediaries and the structure of markets. This evolution brings both challenges and opportunities: from operational efficiency to risk management, as well as the need for adequate energy infrastructures. The growing demand for computing power will require a new European energy mix and the development of a continental “smart grid” capable of supporting the digitalization of financial flows.
